IMO, the two most nostalgic human senses are smell and hearing. Of course, they haven't figured out how to transmit smell over the internet yet so I guess for now we're stuck concentrating on sound. Not that that's a bad thing of course. This page has a list of recordings that a select few of my site's visitors might find interesting.
Concert Band music
- Sleigh Ride: As Christine Ibara (I think it was) once said, a Christmas concert just wouldn't be a Christmas concert without Sleigh Ride, Aiea's perennial winter-time crowd pleaser. Relive your crappy Aiea High School band days with the AHS Symphonic Band's rendition of "Sleigh Ride," conducted by Mark Miyamoto. Of particular note in this recording is how the band almost falls apart between 1:20 and 1:28, the rushing after 1:40 and again at 2:40.
