At the end of the third quarter of my senior year, I stole my teacher's Sony video camera and started taping random stuff. After that, I got addicted to the video camera, just like how I've always been addicted to still photography. Anyway, I transferred a lot of my video to my laptop and edited it. I chose some of the more interesting clips and these are the clips I'm posting here. So enjoy!

This video clip is of the closing lines of the song and the first few measures of the song after that ("The Macarena"). There's a lot happening in the background of the video. This is a very interesting video. The DJ is playing a censored "Hollaback Girl," so everytime a bad word should be played, the people on the dance floor say, "shhhh." Unfortunately, not everyone is for the censoring of the media. That is, if you look behind the group of dancers in the foreground and listen carefully, you'll see/hear someone yelling out the missing swear words. I'm not mentioning names, though, you just have to see for yourself. Here's a hint though: the people doing it are from the class of 2006, juniors. |

There's an irritating part of "Hollaback Girl" that involves the word "bananas." Basically, the lyric is, "The sh** is bananas, B-A-N-A-N-A-S," that is, bananas is spelled. The DJ, being the funny guy he was, jumped in on that part of the song and put in his own lyric. Unfortunately, our DJ didn't know how to spell. |
